Relax with the whole family at this peaceful, idyllic rural holiday rental. It’s the ideal place to escape the busy modern world. The cottage has two comfortable bedrooms, sleeping up to four guests, with flexible sleeping arrangements of one double bed or two single beds.
Oil-fired central heating throughout ensures a warm and cosy stay all year round. Free Wi-Fi with fibre broadband is available throughout the property, along with a flat-screen smart TV.
The open-plan living space combines a comfortable sitting room with a fully fitted and equipped kitchen and dining area, creating a welcoming space to relax, cook and enjoy meals together. The modern bathroom features both a bath and an electric shower.
Outside, the cottage boasts a large, enclosed garden area, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the fresh country air. On fine days, guests can make the most of the picnic table and parasol and enjoy a BBQ, while the fire pit provides a cosy spot to gather around on cooler evenings. For guests travelling with dogs, the garden area is ideal for four-legged friends to stretch their legs and make the most of the outdoor space during their stay.
Our holiday home is set next to the quaint village of Bonniconlon, Co. Mayo, nestled in the shadows of the Ox Mountains on the Mayo/Sligo border. Bonniconlon is a picturesque rural village on the R294 regional road, a short drive from the vibrant town of Ballina and the beautiful beach at Enniscrone.
The surrounding area is well known for its wild beauty. A network of outstanding recreational walking trails has been developed in the area, and all the trails are suitable for mountain bike use.
Ballina is often referred to as the salmon capital of Ireland, thanks to the famous River Moy. Blessed with a breathtaking Atlantic coastline and over 5,000 years of civilisation, Ballina has something to offer everyone, including golf, fishing, walking, shopping, a night on the town, and wonderful culinary delights and cultural attractions.
